What a crazy but fun weekend. Took friday off from work so I can haul ass up to LA on thurs nite to get some last minute practice in. But unfortunately, good ol charley had to hang with the wifey..so we didnt get to play til 12am. Crazy u say..well, aparently half of the asians in san gabriel were crazy too..cuz i was expecting us to be the only ones crazy enough to play at midnite on a week day, but apparently, everyone else wanted to play too. So we got a couple of games in to just sorta warm ourselves up. We got home around 3am ready to wake up in 2 and a half hrs to drive from diamond bar to LAX.

We actually made it to the airport with time to take a nap on the bench, so that we did. Upon getting in to San Jo...wyman, one of my bros was nice enough to pick us up and drive us BACK to oakland to pick up a rental car. To make a long story short, we got the car, and hung out with Charley's brother, and his girlfriend, BeeBee for the rest of the nite. We played some more badminton on friday nite with the Cal badminton club..and then headed to fremont afterwards to sleep at my house. Saturday rolled around....watched BeeBee play A MIXED with her coach..fuckin nuts...they won 1st place with no problems...he was hella good and so was BeeBee.. CONGRATS BeeBee! We actually made it to dinner at Houston's in the city too...hella good prime rib and we dined like kings and queens..haha. Then I met up with Wyman at Ibiza for clubbing tat nite, it was a big ol mess trying to get in , but we finally did get in and that place was freakin packed! I think a LITTLE too many people...anyhow, didnt stay long, said hi to a couple of friends, wished a couple bdays, bought people a couple drinks..and we were outta there like a bat outta hell..cuz we had to wake up at 7 the next morning for the tournament. Saw Della there, said hi, bye..that was it. We got home around 3...chilled a lil and head to bed only to be waken up by the alarm 4 hrs later.

Crawled outta bed..went to tournament...freakin saw hella familiar faces..like people from hs and a bunch of new faces. Funny thing is...I saw my old hs coach there...and apparently he is now coaching elsewhere..and i got to play him in B doubles...what a coincidence...haha Anyhow, we did pretty decent before losing to some old farts.. =P We played well in B's..and not so hot in Cs...blah. Cant explain it, just weird. We even hung with my coach til they pulled away late in the 1st game. Argh...it woulda been nice if we can beat my coach..haha He was playing with one of his tall ass students..the dood's like 6'4"! Anyhow, we watched Chad play til 11pm and we basically called it a nite cuz we were so screwed from waking up at like 7am on avg for the last 3 days...

It was nice to finally come home to diamond bar on monday morning though. Just relaxed the rest of the day...took a phatty nap when i got home and finally mustered up enough energy to drive home to SD...whew..what a nice weekend. Had lots of fun and looking to do it again some time soon! Nov? =)

Geez, only got about 5hrs worth of sleep last nite, sorta my own fault..and sorta YOUR FAULT...ALICE! =P haha, j/p...i shoulda quit it with the nerd badminton talk early and head to bed, but i'm just a lil too excited about the tournament as you might of noticed. Thanks for the g luck wish though, charley and i are gonna need it for sures.Yea, so I'm going up to norcal this weekend..should be a fun trip regardless of what happens at the tournament. Its also two people's bdays..so i forsee a very packed weekend with too many things to do and so little time.

So what else is new in the S and the C world....errr...well, i've managed to get a hold of pirated copies of season 4 on the computer, so i've been watching those on and off for the last 3 nites...I'm up to episode 11 out of 18...its still as good as the first episode, but i just wished carrie would get back with Mr. Big..cuz i think Aidan(sp?) is just a lil too overbearing..and insecure sometimes. Aiight, gotta finish my rxns so i can get outta here and take some pics for fran. ciao

Alright ladies, this is the day you've guys have all been waiting for!!!
